pack mtg.

the boys had their last pack mtg for the school year. austin and landon earned their wolf badge. 

this is about the time that donnette was grabbing my butt while my dad was trying to take pictures. i'm gonna hurt her. i have the most awful smiling face- LOL!!!

riley already earned all 20 of the webelo pins but he received a patch so he was excited. i had already told him he wasn't getting anything. he'll be bridging over to boy scouts and receiving his arrow soon!!! can't wait!

visiting a boy scout troop

one of the requirements to receive the arrow of light is to visit a boy scout meeting and talk with their scout leader about boy scouts. riley was thrilled to go. they helped the troop sand wood for a large jenga game that the troop was taking with them on their upcoming overnighter. just a taste of what to expect in boy scouts. he still wants to go- so we'll see what happens!!!!

i have kept this photo booth picture of me and my mom in my wallet for as long as i can remember. and seeing how it was mother's day and you can do so much fun stuff with snapshot, i put this together. it turned out cute. i have one for next month too with me and my dad. can't wait!

mother's day

i love getting presents from my kids!!! i love how excited they get. they brought home their gifts after school on friday we waited until sunday for me to open them. it was fun. we also ate my favorite pie that we had bought the day before - before i sick in bed for most of the weekend....just another headache day...

a quote from austin regarding mother's day...... he told me he doesn't like mother's day- father's day is his favorite cause he likes his dad best- but not to worry- i'm in his top 5. thanx austin. 

and my last school present from riley. he'll be off next year with the big kids and they more than likely will not be making any cute mother's day gifts in middle school. why do they have to grow up?!

flying a kite

austin was the lone wolf tonight at his den meeting! but he had a blast- he decorated and built a kite and then went outside and tried to fly it. and it was successful!!! he was so proud! 

pali!!!

some of the pictures i took before riley went off with to pali with his school! he had his friend alex spend the night before and i took both of them over to the school so so early in the morning. they were excited!

geocaching

austin's wolf den went with the bear den for scouts out to the desert to look for geocaching. what it is, cause i didn't know- you take coordinates and you go out and find it. it's usually a small box or something. you put something small in, like a toy solider- that's what austin traded- and you can trade with something in there. and that's it. you use the gps on your phone to find it. the kids love it. i couldn't go cause i get to stay at the school and collect money, but brad went and helped austin and cora went with landon and i'm stealing her pictures.
